Experience:
The successful candidate will be responsible for all development and technical administration of the CEU website/mini-sites operating on the Drupal Content Management System. The primary responsibilities of the individual in this position are to co-ordinate the various processes in Drupal administration, development, support and implementation life cycle. The candidate will configure and customize Drupal Applications and Modules.
The candidate is also responsible for the following:
Managing upgrades to Drupal and related Modules.
Developing upgrade paths for Drupal, database structure and third party and custom modules.
Designing, writing, developing and implementing new applications for the Drupal platform.
Reporting progress and activity to IT Manager on a continuing basis + frequent consultation with CEU online communications staff
Migrating the current content to the new Drupal CMS
Requirements:
Strong Drupal development experience, including Drupal 6.x; experience with Multi-site feature preferred
SQL [MySQL/Postgres] database administration, familiar with LDAP for authentication purposes
Intermediate level of English, both verbal and written skills
Good communication skills and capacity to train and support people
Experience with Web 2.0 technologies
Experience in higher education/university is not a must but favorable
