Az első előadás során megismerkedünk a headless Drupal fogalmával. Miro előadásában arról fog beszélni, hogy mi is az a headless Drupal és hogyan integrálódik a Drupal 8-ba.

A felsőoktatási intézmények jó ideje használják a Drupalt, de ez a folyamat nem mentes a kihívásoktól, különösen amikor külső beszállító is bekerül a képbe.
Nyílt forráskódú szoftverre fejleszteni a dobozos megoldások helyett hatalmas előnyökkel jár, de olyan felelősséggel is társul, amire nem minden szervezet van felkészülve. Az előadás során beszélünk a technikai és projektvezetési kihívásokról és ezeknek a lehetséges megoldásairól.

We all know that front-end trends are changing faster than we are able to release new Drupal versions :) Headless Drupal is a way, how we can enable to our frontenders better developer experience and bring Drupal to more devices . In this session we will present:
• what is headless Drupal
• how it is implemented in Drupal 8
• how we are able to run simplified e-commerce terminal on Raspberry Pi board with Drupal 8
Ádám Boros & Balázs Dianiska: Drupal goes to college
Higher Education organisations, such as Universities, Colleges have been building on Drupal for a while now, and their adoption of the platform is growing steadily. But the progress is not without challenges, especially when it comes to interacting with external suppliers.
On a scale level and internal structure level, these organisations are on the enterprise level, which makes such projects challenging at times..
Building on an open source software instead of using a pre-packaged, third party solution has tremendous advantages, but comes with an immense responsibility as well that not all organisations are ready for. They are thus facing not only a huge learning gap in terms of technology, but in terms of content and product ownership as well.
This session will explore these challenges through the eyes of Adam Boros, who is the Drupal Architect on Central European University’s in-house Drupal team for the past 8 years, and Balazs Dianiska, a Technical Architect at Acquia who has worked on several higher ed projects over the last four years in various capacity.
We will talk about the technical and governance challenges, such as strategy building, decentralised content and content governance and how we address the most common challenges.
